Binderline is a card-collection tracker. This page is the honest version of what we store, written for people, not lawyers. Last updated 5 September 2026.
Browsing needs no account. You can look at any set, any card and any price without telling us who you are, and we do not ask you to sign in to read anything.
Marking cards as owned or watched needs an account, because a browser is not a safe place to keep a collection. Safari deletes in-browser data after about a week without a visit, and we would rather not lose your cards. Your collection is stored on this device as well as in your account so the app works offline; backups you download are files on your computer.
You can sign in with Google or with a link we email you. First use creates the account. There is no password. We store your email (and, if you use Google, that account id and name), plus a copy of your collection and watch list so it can follow you to another phone or computer. We do not sell this. We do not build a public profile, a feed, or a follower list.
News and product email (new sets, prices, Binderline updates) is optional. A checkbox on the account sheet is off unless you tick it. You can turn it off there any time. Sign-in emails (the link to log in) are separate and only go out when you ask.
Affiliate links (eBay, and later TCGplayer or Amazon) may set that company’s cookie when you click them. That’s their tracking, not a Binderline tracker.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets no cookies, does not follow you to other sites, and does not build a profile of you. We see totals (pages, countries, referrers), never individuals. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing identifying you in the first place, which is exactly why we chose it over the usual analytics.
Sign in, open Account in the menu, and choose Delete account. That wipes the copy we hold. The copy on this device stays until you clear it, same as today.
